About Victor Petrovic

Victor Petrovic, President

"We've gained our clients' trust because we come through for them when it matters. And we work with them one-on-one to develop customized solutions for their business."

Victor Petrovic A machinist by trade, Victor started his own business, Victor's Machine Works (VMW), in 1975. From its humble beginnings as a small shop, Victor's business had only a few small machines to its name. Initially, he established market share by manufacturing and repairing oilfield parts and equipment. Within three years, he was building drilling rigs. VMW soon flourished, becoming one of the most well known machine shops in Canada. Clientele later expanded into the U.S.A. and around the world.

Victor has catered to the oil and gas industry for more than 35 years, specializing in manufacturing and repair work for a wide range of drilling service companies. With various directional companies as his clients, Victor gained real expertise in manufacturing and servicing directional tools and equipment. Earning a solid reputation for quality and precision work, he built natural, long-term relationships with many of them. As the business grew, he remained dedicated to providing his clients with personalized service. True pride of ownership is still evident in his work today.

Victor invests the same amount of drive and energy in his personal interests as he does in his business. He competes regularly in the Boston Marathon and has been a 2nd degree black belt in Kung Fu for more than 30 years.

"Our experience, our people and our resources make it work. We provide advantages and services that no other directional company can match."
